Andrew Stewart is seasoned executive with over 35 years Information Systems and Management Consulting experience. Career highlights include leading teams creating real world solution ‘firsts’ using leading edge technologies. He brings a wealth of experience and strengths in the areas of customer engagement, program and project management, financial and taxation systems, corporate governance, and large Provincial Government and inter Government projects. His international experience includes assignments in Canada and the United States as well as project collaboration across North America, the United Kingdom and India.
Since September 2013, Andrew has been a Senior Director with Finaeos Inc., responsible for Customer Engagement. He is the founder and owner of SBR Connections Ltd a Canadian consulting organization founded in 1986. He has been a board member of several start-up ventures and negotiated agreements between Canadian, United Kingdom and Chinese organizations. On a volunteer basis, Andrew has held positions as Marketing Director with the Victoria Branch of the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) and President of CIPS BC – a branch CIPS responsible for the Information Systems Professional (I.S.P) designation in British Columbia. He is a self published author of ‘Manage the New Economy’, a book promoting entrepreneurism as an almost mandatory back-up to traditional jobs in an increasingly fluid economy and is currently working on new writing projects.
Andrew is the father of three children, who live and work in the United Kingdom, pursuing their own careers in Architecture, Teaching and as Work Experience coach to 16 to 18 year old young adults respectively.
